Jeb Stuart (& His Banjo).

I remember seeing the adverts for Wodensfeld Miniatures years ago (in Military Modelling I think). At the time I had switched from 20mm figures to Hinchliffe 25's and so never bought any first time round.

Well the world has turned and here I am with a batch of these figures, some for myself and some, like these, for my friend in the US.

I particularly like this group, simply because of Stuart's banjo carrying buddy! Oodles of character all round and destined to play a significant part on my own ACW collecting.

The full ACW range is now available once more from John Cunningham (along with the Wodensfeld SYW range plus the Douglas and Les Higgins Malburians amongst others).

A full list is available from John at CunnJoh@aol.com

Not sure what will be next-I have the last of the Newline Napoleonic Dutch/Belgian figures started but also have Longstreet and Stonewall Jackson to compliment this set.

But for now the kids are away, the house is mine for a couple more hours and I have not yet watched the "Zulu" DVD I got for my birthday.

Very unusual figure that one with the banjo. Very nice painted!

"Zulu" is one of my favorite movies. Enjoy watching it!

Now you need a Union figure with a banjo and you can have dueling banjos!

Sam Sweeney was the name of Jeb Stuart's banjo-playing friend. A nice job you've done painting them, Matt.
